How to Troubleshoot Power Loss by Checking Your Breaker and GFCI

In this video, we walk you through how to check and reset your breaker or GFCI outlet if your pool cover isn’t operating

If a GFCI is tripped, it can interrupt the flow of electricity to your system. To reset it, simply press the reset button and then try your pool cover switch again.

If you hear a clicking sound but nothing happens, it may indicate a faulty GFCI or breaker. In that case, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician to inspect the electrical components.

Once reset, your pool cover should resume normal operation. If the issue continues, please feel free to contact our office—we’re happy to help schedule a service visit.
