Scheduling & Service
Q: What are your service call fees?
A: Our standard service call fee is $275 which also includes the first hour of labor, additional hours of labor are $210. Parts and labor are additional.
Q: How do I schedule a service?
A: Call us at 805 646-4232 or email us directly at coverprocalifornia@gmail.com — we’ll confirm the next available appointment. Please note, appointments are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
A: Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Missed or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a service call fee.

Pricing & Payments
Q: How do you charge for repairs?
A: Repairs are billed time + materials. Quotes are provided before major work begins.
Q: Do you offer free estimates?
A: We do not offer free on-site estimates. Diagnostic visits fall under our standard service call fee.
Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept credit cards, checks, and ACH transfers.

Warranty & Replacement Covers
Q: What’s covered under warranty?
A: Manufacturer warranties apply only to certain parts:

Ropes: 2 or 3 years from installation depending on the original manufacturer

Motors & electronics: As per manufacturer’s policy

Sliders, sew tabs, and wear items: Not covered (considered consumable parts)
Q: Do you offer replacement covers?
A: Yes! We provide replacement fabric covers in multiple colors. Visit our Replacement Cover Hub to see options. All replacement covers receive a complimentary 90day poolside labor warranty for adjustments on the new fabric

Credit Card Policy
We do require a Credit Card on file prior to the submission of a service order. (As February of 2006) The card number will be on file for payment IF there is a bill generated. We will mail or email you a detailed invoice, outlining the service we performed. *Please note: If the balance is not paid, the credit card will be charged after 30 days for service and 14 days for Replacement Cover Installations. Returned checks as well as accounts sent to collections are subject to a $15.00 fee, chargebacks are subject to a $35.00 fee.
Pool Cover Care
Q: How often should I service my cover system?
A: We recommend at least 3-4 visits a year to keep your system running smoothly and to catch issues early. Our Preventative Maintenance Program is the best option for cover care.
Q: Can I hose down or clean my cover?
A: Yes — gently rinse off dirt and debris. Avoid harsh chemicals or power-washing, as these can damage the fabric.
Service Policies
Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: Yes. All labor is backed by a 30-day workmanship warranty. Manufacturer warranties apply to covered parts.
Q: Do you charge for return visits?
A: If a new issue arises, a standard service call applies. If it’s related to a recent repair within 30 days, we’ll submit a Call Back and you will receive a return visit with 1hr at no charge.
